Toowoomba Intergenerational Living and Learning

The Toowoomba Intergenerational Living and Learning concept seeks to create a community minded precinct including senior living facilities, a secondary school campus, a public aquatic and recreation facility, sporting courts, amphitheatre spaces and gardens. However, unlike the typical typologies of these facilities, this project is designed to blend and integrate the built environment and to utilise the built environment and urban design to deepen the interaction, connectivity and understandings between generations, and will provide the facilities and intentional spaces for co-learning, co-care, co-fitness and co-creation.
