A SCHOOL & A RETIREMENT VILLAGE This project fundamentally aims to combine a secondary school and retirement village. But is also offers the opportunity to ask other more important questions such as: Why do we separate the young and the old in the first place? What are the negative effects of doing so? What if we celebrated life at all ages? Could we create a community where people of all ages can meaningfully connect? Could it work in a regional community?

Grace is an Architectural Student who has worked for both Architects and Builders, with experience in drafting, concept design, developed design, contract documentation and administration. Her project experience ranges from small residential projects through to the design and documentation of schools, public buildings, commercial and industrial buildings. She is passionate about hand sketching, Queensland vernacular architecture and creating high quality, beautiful spaces that will hold their value to endure time and trends.
