Hall of Democracy

Devoting itself to the public realm, the Hall of Democracy acts as a forum for interaction, conversation and education surrounding politics in Australia. From adopting a sustainable perspective at the beginning of the project, the design eliminates the need for HVAC through vast pavilions, ample shading and constant ventilation. It stands as an landmark for subtropical QLD design.

Connor Jones

Starting his architectural journey at QUT in 2017, Connor Jones has grown to understand that architecture is about much more than design. Playing an integral role in shaping our lives, architecture has the responsibility to reflect and enhance the people and environment it services. Therefore, it is imperative that a conscious and sustainable approach to design is taken to ensure a positive impact for generations to come.
