Architecture - Masters
Day Care Center + Work Training Center
This integrated centre is served for homeless single families to facilitate interaction among parents, children and citizens. The centre offers a supportive environment for children including casework, counselling for carers, support groups, extra support for schooling, help with emotional and behavioural problems, access to leisure activities, and contact with other carers.
For parents, they can go through training or find jobs without the pressure of looking after their children. Moreover, citizens volunteers are to engage with urban common activities to address the homelessness issue. Their involvement is expected to increase interaction between everyone sharing the same spaces, thus enhancing social awareness towards homelessness issues.
