Hall of Democracy

Brisbane's Hall of Democracy is a collaborative project with Skye Hewitson, located along George Street, Brisbane.

The Hall of Democracy is a public building for Queenslander's to unite, celebrate and share their visions for a new and improved democracy. The main concepts behind the building are freedom, engagement, education and preserving heritage. These concepts were adopted into the design framework in an effort to create a building that bridges the old with the future as well as working towards an improved democracy for Queensland.

David Hamilton

Hi I'm David and I've got a strong passion for people and design! Having lived and studied in Brisbane my whole life, I have developed an interest in sub-tropical design that responds to Brisbane's climate. In my designs, I endeavour to blend nature with the interiors whilst creating a strong sense of place that contributes back to the communities and urban environment.
